About Madagascar: Madagascar is an island in the Indian Ocean off the south east coast of Africa and is famous for its superb vanilla. Its unique climate is also perfect to produce several varieties of cocoa which have been blended to produce this exceptional 67% dark chocolate.

Flavour profile: It has a powerful taste and bitterness which leaves final impressions of spice, ginseng and blackberry. It forms a perfect pairing with honey and Cointreau, rhubarb and mandarin and coffee and cardamom.

How to enjoy: As Madagascar pairs so well with Mandarin, why not use it with Cointreau to create an intensely rich single origin chocolate cake for a special occasion.  Alternatively make a chocolate mousse and layer it with dark chocolate sponge and a blackcurrant compote. As with all our origin chocolates, you can enjoy them just as they are!
